Installation Procedure

  1. Install the evaporative emission front pipe (3) and close the fuel pipe clip (2).
  2. Connect the emission canister fuel vent pipe (1) to the evaporative emission front pipe (3). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  4. Install the lower bulk head clip.
  5. Close the 4 fuel pipe clips (2).

  7. Install the right front compartment front panel (3).
  8. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  9. Install the front compartment front panel bolts (2) and tighten to 100 N.m (74 lb ft).
  10. Install the frame rear bolts (1) and tighten to 160 N.m (118 lb ft).
  11. Underbody Brace Replacement - Middle X-Rod - Install
  12. Underbody Brace Replacement - Front - Install
  13. Lower the vehicle.

  15. Install the evaporative emission front pipe (1) to the upper bulkhead clip (3).
  16. Close the upper bulkhead clip (3).
  17. Clip in the evaporative emission front pipe into clip (2).

  19. Connect the evaporative emission front pipe (1) to the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  20. Engine Sight Shield Replacement - Install
  21. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
