Circuit/System Verification

- With a scan tool, verify that DTC C0456 4B is not set.
- If the DTC is set, calibrate the steering position sensor and verify the DTC does not reset. Refer to Power Steering Control Module Calibration .
- If the DTC resets, replace the steering gear.
