Installation Procedure

- Loosen the 2 three way catalytic converter brace bracket bolts (2).
- Install the three way catalytic converter (4) and a NEW gasket (5).
- Install the 2 three way catalytic converter brace bracket bolts (2) and loosely tighten.
- Install the 3 three way catalytic converter nuts (1) and tighten to 28 N.m (21 lb ft).
- Tighten the 2 three way catalytic converter brace bracket bolts (2) to 58 N.m (43 lb ft).
- Tighten the 2 three way catalytic converter nuts (3) to 28 N.m (21 lb ft).
- Install the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement .
- Lower the vehicle.
- Install the exhaust manifold heat shield. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement .
