Installation Procedure
- If you are installing a new ignition lock cylinder, code the lock cylinder. Refer to Key and Lock Cylinder Coding .
- Turn the key to the RUN position and insert ignition lock cylinder into the lock housing.
- Turn the key to the LOCK position and remove the key from the ignition lock cylinder.
- Install the steering column lower trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Replacement .
- Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
