Removal Procedure

- Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling
- Recover the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-134a)
- Hood Primary and Secondary Latch - Remove - Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Replacement (Encore)
- Air Conditioning Condenser (2) - Remove - Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement (LE2)
- Charge Air Cooler (2) - Remove - Charge Air Cooler Replacement
- Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler (3) - Remove - Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler ReplacementTransmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler Replacement (LE2 MNH)
- Radiator Surge Tank (6) - Remove - Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LUV, LE2) Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LE2)
- Radiator Inlet Hose (2) @Radiator Assembly - Remove - Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LE2)
- Radiator Outlet Hose (2) @Radiator Assembly - Remove - Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LE2)
- Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet Pipe (1) @Radiator Assembly - Remove - Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement (LE2)
- Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.
- Disconnect the engine coolant fan connector.
- Radiator Upper Bracket (2) - Remove - Radiator Upper Bracket Replacement (LE2)
- Radiator Assembly (1) - Remove
- Radiator Bolt (1) - Remove
- Engine Coolant Fan Shroud (2) - Remove
- Radiator (3) - Remove
- Radiator Upper Insulator (1) - Remove
- Air Conditioning Condenser Seal (2) - Remove
- Radiator Outlet Hose Connector (3) - Remove - Radiator Outlet Hose Connector Replacement - Radiator Side (LUV, LE2)
- Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Retainer (4) - Remove
- Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (5) - Remove
- Lower Radiator Frame (6) - Remove
