Installation Procedure

- Position the front lower control arm (2) in the frame and the steering knuckle.
- Install all of the front lower control arm bolts before tightening to hold the lower control arm in place.
- Use a suitable support to bring the lower control arm and suspension up to curb height level before proceeding to apply final torque.
- Install the NEW front lower control arm front nut (4) and NEW front lower control arm front bolt (5) and tighten the bolt to 100 N.m (74 lb ft) + 90 degrees.
- Install the NEW steering knuckle bolt (1) and NEW steering knuckle nut (3) and tighten the nut to 115 N.m (85 lb ft) + 120 degrees.
- Install the front lower control arm rear nuts (1) and NEW front lower control arm rear bolts (2) and tighten the bolts to 100 N.m (74 lb ft) + 90 degrees.
- Unclip the wiring harness from the lower control arm.
- Connect the height sensor link from the ball stud on the lower control arm.
- Connect the wiring harness from the lower control arm.
- Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.

This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.
