Preliminary Procedures Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement . Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) .
1	Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Use a new gasket. Disconnect the electrical connector. Tighten: 20 N.m (15 lb ft)

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

Use a new gasket.
Disconnect the electrical connector.

Tighten: 20 N.m (15 lb ft)
