Preliminary Procedure Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
1	Fastener (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
2	Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Replacement Procedure Disconnect the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve harness connector. Clean the cylinder head mating surfaces before assembly. Lubricate the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve O-ring seals with clean engine oil. TIP: Replace only the Intake or exhaust camshaft position actuator solenoid as necessary.

Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Replacement

Procedure

Disconnect the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve harness connector.
Clean the cylinder head mating surfaces before assembly.
Lubricate the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve O-ring seals with clean engine oil.

TIP: Replace only the Intake or exhaust camshaft position actuator solenoid as necessary.
