Circuit/System Verification
- With a scan tool. Verify no DTCS have set.
- If the DTC is set, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
- Observe the scan tool Brake Pressure Sensor Input voltage parameter in VSES scan tool data while the brake pedal is unapplied. The scan tool data value should be 0.7 volts.
- If voltage reads less than the specified value, refer to Diagnostic Aids and ABS Description and Operation .
- If voltage is equal to or greater than the specified value, test or replace the EBCM.
