Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Isuzu Ascender, 2007 GMC Envoy, 2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer, and 2007 Buick Rainier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
    IMPORTANT: Do NOT swap digital radio receivers between vehicles. Swapping digital receivers between vehicles will activate the digital radio Theftlock® and "XM Theftlock®" will display.
  1. Lower the right closeout insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side .
  2. Fig 1: Identifying Module Mounting

  3. Remove the electrical connector (1) from the receiver.

  5. Remove the antenna electrical connector (1) from the receiver.

  7. Remove the nuts retaining the receiver to the insulator panel.
  8. Remove the receiver from the vehicle.
