Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL, Envoy XUV) or Fuel Tank Replacement (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Rainier) .
  2. Remove the fuel feed (1) and EVAP (2) lines from the fuel sender assembly. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .

  4. Using J 44402  , remove the fuel sender lock ring (1).
  5. Remove the fuel sender assembly (2) and seal (3). Discard the seal.
  6. CAUTION: Refer to Fuel Storage Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  7. Clean the fuel sender sealing surfaces (4).
