Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PROCEDURE (TOP POST) in Engine Electrical.
  2. Open and lower the instrument panel compartment by carefully releasing the rear holding tabs.
  3. Pull down in order to remove the instrument panel module (IPM) (1).
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the IPM.
