DTC B2559: Courtesy Lamps Ground Open: Description

The sole purpose of this circuit is to provide a controlled ground for all courtesy light current flowing through theater dimming output circuit. DTC B2559 will be stored in memory if BCM detects an input that does not match normal ground potential for more than 0.3 second.

A current DTC B2559 will clear if open no longer detected by BCM. A history code B2559 will clear after 100 consecutive ignition cycles if conditions for setting DTC are no longer present. A scan tool may be used to clear DTC B2559.
