DTC B1482: Inadvertent Power Short To Ground: Description

BCM provides an interface to electrical loads that are controlled by the inadvertent power circuit. DTC B1482 will be stored in memory if the voltage level drops to zero volts for more than 0.1 second when BCM is expecting a high voltage level. A current DTC B1482 will clear if short to ground is no longer detected by BCM. A history code B1482 will clear after 100 consecutive ignition cycles if conditions for setting DTC are no longer present. A scan tool may be used to clear DTC B1482.
