Indicator Does Not Operate

Disconnect tailgate ajar switch connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect a jumper wire between tailgate ajar switch connector terminal "A" (Dark Green wire) and ground. If indicator lights, replace tailgate ajar switch. If indicator does not light, check for bad indicator bulb or for open in Dark Green wire. If bulb and Dark Green wire are okay, replace instrument cluster.
