DTC 33, Fuel Enable Circuit (CKT Open Or Shorted To Ground): Notes

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

PASS-Key II(R) portion of CCM enables fuel enable circuit. Fuel enable circuit signals Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to activates fuel injectors when CCM has identified a valid ignition key match.

DTC 33 will set after a valid ignition key match, IGN 1 is on and circuit remains low for 2 or more seconds.

When DTC 33 is set, vehicle should still start. DTC 33 will clear when IGN 1 is turned off.
