Control Module Power/Ground Input - Test Procedure
- Unplug control module harness 10-pin connector C1. Turn ignition on. It is normal for chime to sound when module is disconnected and driver door is open. Ensure connector terminals make positive contact.
- Check for battery voltage at connector C1 terminal "G" (Red wire). If battery voltage does not exist, repair Red wire between control module and circuit breaker No. 6. If battery voltage exists, go to next step.
- Check for battery voltage at connector C1 terminal "H" (Orange wire). If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, check instrument panel fuse No. 14. If fuse is okay, repair Orange wire between control module and instrument panel fuse block.
- Check for battery voltage at connector C1 terminal "K" (Pink wire). If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair Pink wire between control module and ignition switch.
- Check for battery voltage between connector C1 terminals "E" (Brown wire) and "G" (Red wire). If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open in Black/White wire between control module and ground.
- Check for battery voltage between connector terminals "F" (Brown wire) and "K" (Pink wire). If battery voltage exists, go to TWILIGHT SENTINEL CONTROL - TEST PROCEDURE . If battery voltage does not exist, repair Black/White wire between control module and ground.
