Caprice, Custom Cruiser & Roadmaster
- Disconnect rear wiper motor module connector. Using a test light, backprobe between terminal "A" (Orange wire) and ground. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, check for open in Orange wire. If wire is okay, repair power feed to fuse No. 2.
- Backprobe between terminal "A" (Orange wire) and terminal "B" (Black wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Black wire to ground.
- Backprobe between terminal "C" (Gray wire) and ground. Turn rear wiper switch to ON position. If test light does not illuminate, go to next step. If test light illuminates, check for poor connection at wiper motor module connector terminal "C" (Gray wire). If connection is okay, replace rear wiper motor module.
- Backprobe between rear window interlock switch connector Orange wire and ground. If test light illuminates, check for open or poor connection at interlock switch connector Gray wire. If Gray wire and connection are okay, replace rear window interlock switch.
- If test light does not illuminate, check for open or poor connection at interlock switch connector Orange wire. If Orange wire and connection are okay, replace rear wiper/washer switch.
