Note On Intermittents
If Code B113 is set with Code B115, check for an intermittent open in circuit No. 736. If an intermittent Code B113 is being set, check the B113 snap data value for in-car temperature sensor, BCM data display BD25. If BD25 value is less than -29°F (-34°C), the fault was caused by an open in circuits No. 734 or No. 736 or in-car temperature sensor. If BD25 value is greater than 209°F (85°C), the fault was caused by a short to ground in circuit No. 734 or a shorted in-car temperature sensor. Manipulate related wiring while observing BD25 display. If failure is induced, reading will jump from its normal value to a reading outside the range of -29°F (-34°C) to 209°F (85°C).
If value indicated by BD25 display is not reasonably close to actual temperature of air at sensor, check for poor terminal contact, or replace sensor.
