All Models: Installation

  1. With vacuum valve spring in place, position valve to housing, noting alignment pins. Also, make sure drive arm is aligned with pin on vacuum motor mechanism.
  2. Secure vacuum valve with two screw-studs.
  3. Make the following vacuum hose connections:
    • Purple hose from checking relay connects to "PURP" port.
    • Black hose from checking relay connects to center port of vacuum valve.
    • Small black hose from transducer connects to remaining port of vacuum valve.
  4. Install programmer cover and programmer.
