SITUATION

Service interval (mileage and time) indicators for Condition-Based Service (CBS) items on the display key prior to July 2016, are not accurate.

The affected displays are:

Engine Oil
Vehicle Check
Brake Fluid

CAUSE

Software change on the type of data shown on the display key.

Vehicles produced since July 2016 now do not have this inaccurate data shown on the display key.

INFORMATION

Replacing Parts or programming the vehicle will not rectify the situation.

The display key information was modified, as shown in the graphics below, to eliminate any confusion that may have been caused by inconsistent display of CBS maintenance intervals.

The remaining CBS distance and date are now only displayed in the vehicle.
