13 62 538 Replacing intake air temperature sensor (M57T2)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Read out fault memory of the DDE control unit, work through test plans if necessary.
Switch off ignition

Installation location:

Temperature sensor for charge air is installed at the left charge air line.

Release connector (1) and remove.

Pull off anti-twist lock (1) from temperature sensor for charge air.

NOTE: For purposes of clarity, the illustration shows the pressure pipe removed

Turn temperature sensor for charge air (1) counterclockwise by 90° and pull out.

Installation note:

Mount the temperature sensor only once.
