13 62 533 Replacing primary catalytic converter temperature sensor (M57T2)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Read out fault memory of DDE control unit; if necessary, work through test schedules
Switch off ignition
E83 only: If necessary, remove windscreen washer fluid reservoir
E83 only: Remove rear underbody protection

WARNING: Scalding hazard!
Only perform this task on an engine that has cooled down.

Unlock plug (1) and remove.

Unclip cable.

Release temperature sensor (1).

Installation:

Tightening torque: 13 62 10AZ .

Installation:

Now clear the fault memory.
