ID transmitter

The ID transmitter allows the vehicle to be unlocked, locked or deadlocked via radio remote control.

If the vehicle is equipped with Comfort Access, the vehicle can be unlocked and/or locked without active use of the ID transmitter.

The radio signals from the ID transmitter are received by the remote control receiver and transferred to the front electronic module (FEM).

Authentication of the radio signal is then performed within the front electronic module. If the request is duly authorized, the front electronic module unlocks or locks the vehicle.
