Airbag Warning Lamp (in IKE)

The red MRS warning LED is located in the instrument cluster and is illuminated for a short period after switching the ignition to position 1.

If a fault is present within the MRS, the LED will illuminate and remain on until the ignition is switched off. A check control icon will also appear in either yellow or red depending on the system fault along with a brief text message. With the warning LED illuminated, the MRS may not operate in the event of a collision.
