Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) Not Recognized
COMPLAINT
DSC control module cannot be automatically identified during diagnostic process.
CAUSE
Diagnostic software error
MEASURE
- Manually identify the vehicle and then connect the diagnostic head to establish communication with the vehicle.
- For all E46, except M3: the diagnostic software error will be corrected in CD39.
- For M3: the diagnostic software error will be corrected in CD40.
