SUBJECT

N62 Engine Compression Test Cannot be Found Using DIS CD38.0 or Higher

COMPLAINT

The N62 Engine Compression Test cannot be found using DIS CD 38.0 or higher.

CAUSE

Since the introduction of DIS CD38.0 software the N62 Engine Compression Test has been modified and the Test Plan has been moved within the software.

MEASURE

To access the N62 Engine Compression Test, the following procedure must be followed:

  1. Select "Function Selection".
  2. Select "Service Functions".
  3. Select "Drive".
  4. Select "Engine Management ME9".
  5. Select "Test Runs".
  6. Select "Idling Quality".
  7. Follow the screen prompts for proper operating procedure to perform the test.
