Hydraulic Control Unit For ASC+T: Removal
- Disconnect battery ground lead.
- Remove brake booster. See DISC - 7-SERIES article in BRAKES.
- Unscrew brakelines at couplings.
- Apply special tool 34 3 110 on bleeder screw. Loosen bleeder screw (reservoir pressure is discharged).
- Unscrew hydraulic fluid pipe at adapter.
- Unscrew nuts and remove inside wheel house trim panel.
- Unscrew ride level height control pressure pipe at adapter.
- Disconnect solenoid plug and pressure sensor plug.
- Unscrew mounting screws on wheel house and remove plunger-type hydraulic control unit.
