Blower Motor

Remove center console before testing A/C blower motor. Ensure ignition is off and A/C selector switch is in OFF position. Disconnect electrical connectors from blower motor. Turn ignition on and A/C selector switch to ON position with fan switch on HIGH. Using a DVOM, check for battery voltage at connector. If voltage is present and blower does not operate, replace blower motor. If voltage is not present, check for blown fuse No. 14, damage to wires or connectors, or a faulty blower switch. NOTE: Remove access panel and blower motor housing covers to test blower motor. See BLOWER MOTOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.

Ensure ignition is off and A/C select switch is in OFF position. Disconnect electrical connectors from blower motor. Turn ignition on and adjust blower motor speed switch to high position. Using a DVOM, check for voltage between harness connectors. If voltage is present, replace blower motor. If no voltage is present, test A/C blower motor switch. See BLOWER MOTOR SWITCH  .
