Side Impact Head Protection System (HPS): Notes

WARNING:
When removing or installing HPS air bag, ensure HPS air bag does not contact any sharp edges either on body or on retaining clips. Damage may occur to air bag, limiting functionality or resulting in air bag failure!
NOTE:
On vehicles produced before 07/99, the head air bag gas generator mounting position will be changed. A new retrofit package and instructions must be acquired through the manufacturer.
