Control Module for Adaptive Cruise Control -J428-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

• Component location. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - SENSORS AND CONTROL MODULES IN FRONT SECTION OF VEHICLE .

Vehicles with radiator shutter / RS 3 

-- Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Vehicles without radiator shutter 

-- Remove the bumper cover end plate. Refer to OVERVIEW - BUMPER COVER .

-- Remove the lower air duct for the radiator. Refer to OVERVIEW - LOCK CARRIER .

Continuation for all vehicles

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Release the retainers -3-.

-- Guide out the control module -1- from the mount.
