Protective Window, Removing

• Night Vision System Camera -R212- removed.
• If the protective window is no longer watertight due to damage, the Night Vision System Camera -R212- must be completely replaced. Refer to Night Vision System Camera -R212-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Release the retainers in direction of -arrows-.

-- Remove the trim -1-.

-- Press the retaining tab -1- and turn the cover 90° counter-clockwise -arrow-.

-- Remove the cover -2-, protective window -3-, and seal from the Night Vision System Camera -R212-.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

• Replace the seal after removal

-- Calibrate the night vision system camera after installing. Refer to NIGHT VISION SYSTEM, CALIBRATING .
