Rearview Camera -R189-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING

• If the control module (rearview camera) is being replaced, select the "Replace control module" function for the corresponding control module using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

Removing 

• Component location. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - SENSORS AND CONTROL MODULES IN REAR SECTION OF VEHICLE .

The Rearview Camera -R189- is integrated in the Release Button in Rear Lid Handle -E234- and cannot be replaced separately.

If faulty, the entire Release Button in Rear Lid Handle - E234- must be replaced with the rearview camera. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - CONTROLS IN LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT .

-- Calibrate the rearview camera system after installation. Refer to REARVIEW CAMERA SYSTEM, CALIBRATING .
