Vehicle Electrical System Control Module -J519- MOUNT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Remove the vehicle electrical system control module and set aside with the wires still attached. Refer to Vehicle Electrical System Control Module -J519-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolt -arrow-.

-- Free up the wiring harness -1-.

-- Remove the instrument cluster. Refer to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER WITH Instrument Cluster Control Module -J285-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the left instrument panel vent. Refer to OUTER INSTRUMENT PANEL VENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 4-.

-- Pull the instrument panel -3- as far as possible off of the crossmember.

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

-- Remove the mount -4- by removing the retaining pin from the clip nut -1- in direction of -arrow-.

-- Versions with air freshening system: disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Remove the fragrance hose -3- by releasing the retainer.
