14.5 Right/Left Peripheral Cameras -R244-/-R245-, Removing and Installing: Notes

The Left Peripheral Camera - R244-/Right Peripheral Camera - R245- are located in the respective exterior rearview mirror.

Removing and installing is identical.

Removing 

• Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment. Set the ignition key outside of the vehicle.
• Remove the mirror glass and the mirror trim. Refer to Exterior Rearview Mirror Body-Exterior; Rep. Gr. 66; Exterior Rearview Mirror; Mirror Trim, Removing and Installing.
• Release and disconnect the connector -3-.
• Remove the screws -arrows- and remove the adapter from the Left Peripheral Camera - R244-.
• Remove the Left Peripheral Camera - R244- -1- from the bracket.
