Test Conditions
- Battery in battery support mode. Refer to BATTERY, CHARGING / BATTERY, CHARGING .
- Fuses for fuel pump/Fuel Pump Control Module -J538- are OK. Refer to the appropriate Wiring Diagram(s).
- Fuel Pump Control Module -J538- is OK; to check, use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
- Fuel tank is at least 1 /4 full.
- Fuel filter OK.
- Fuel lines OK (not plugged, not kinked).
- Ignition switched off.
- All electrical equipment switched off.
