Selector Mechanism, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Position the selector lever cable with the cable bracket and tighten with the bolts -2- .

-- Carefully press the ball head -1- of the selector lever cable on the selector lever.

-- Install the battery and the battery tray. Refer to BATTERY .

-- Install the center console insert. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE .

-- Install the selector lever handle with the selector lever boot. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER HANDLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Adjust the selector lever cable. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING .

-- Check the selector mechanism and ignition switch key lock. Refer to SELECTOR MECHANISM, CHECKING .
