3. Check the Displays in the Instrument Cluster

Specified Values
- The selected gear must also appear in the instrument cluster for at least 5 seconds when the Selector Lever Release Button -E681-, -1- is pressed.
2. Check 3.:
-- Move the selector lever into "D/S" and press the -M- button in the steering wheel to select the manual mode "M" (tiptronic)
- "M" must appear in the instrument cluster.
-- Use the -(+)- and -(-)- paddles in the steering wheel with the manual mode "M" (Tiptronic) selected and while driving.
- The display in the instrument cluster must also change each time a higher (+) or lower (-) gear is selected.
3. Check 3.:
-- Move the selector lever to "P".
-- Turn off the engine.
-- Turn on the ignition.
- Do not press the brake pedal.
-- Press the Selector Lever Release Button -E681-, -1-.
Specified Values
- The following message must appear in the instrument cluster: "Press brake pedal and start engine to select R, N or D".
If the specified values are not obtained:
-- Make sure the selector lever handle is installed correctly. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER HANDLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
