Glow Plug, Removing And Installing: Installing

NOTE:

No interchanging of components of various manufacturers. When replacing individual glow plugs only use the current installed manufacturer.

When replacing all installed glow plugs changing manufacturer is possible.

-- Carefully screw in the glow plugs by hand without tilting, using the Assembly Tool :T40428 as shown in the picture, then tighten with the torque.

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Install the glow plug connector -1- on the glow plug -arrow-.

-- Check the glow plug connector for secure fit.

-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
