ATF System Overview
NOTE:
Coat O-rings and seals with ATF. Other types of lubrication lead to faults in the transmission hydraulics.

NOTE:
Replaced the bolts for the ATF pan.
Pay attention to the installation instructions, refer to OIL PAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Tighten the bolts in three steps in the sequence shown:

| 1. | -1 to 12- | Install the new bolts by hand until the bolt heads touch |
| 2. | -1 to 12- | 4 Nm |
| 3. | -1 to 12- | Tighten 45° further |
-- Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm in the following sequence: -1 to 19-.
NOTE:
If the transmission has a pulse memory, then the bolt -17- is installed at the same time the pulse memory is installed, refer to Fig 4.
-- Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm in the following sequence -1 through 17-.
-- Install the hydraulic pulse memory -A-, refer to Installing .
-- Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm in the following sequence: -18 to 21-.
NOTE:
The bolts -18, 19 and 20- secure the hydraulic pulse memory.
-- Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm in the following sequence: -1 to 3-.
