Front Trim Bracket/Compressor/Control Module, Reclining/Multicontour Seat, Removing And Installing: Removing
- Follow all pyrotechnic components safety precautions, refer to PYROTECHNIC COMPONENTS SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
- Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". This can be done by touching the door striker, for example.
-- Remove the front seat, refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING .
-- Remove multicontour seat compressor DRIVER AND FRONT PASSENGER MULTICONTOUR SEAT COMPRESSOR -V439- / -V440-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove memory seat/steering column adjustment control module, refer to DRIVER AND FRONT PASSENGER MEMORY SEAT/STEERING COLUMN ADJUSTMENT CONTROL MODULE -J136- / -J521-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the sill panel side trim together with front trim, refer to SEAT SIDE SILL TRIM WITH FRONT TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Partially remove the upholstery from the front seat -1- SEAT PAN COVER AND CUSHION, RECLINING SEAT/MULTICONTOUR SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Disconnect harness connector -3- and free up electrical wire.
-- Remove the bolts -2 and 4- and the bracket -arrow-.
