Condenser, Removing And Installing: Installing
Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:
Radiator and condenser assembly. Refer to COOLER AND CONDENSER ASSEMBLY .
There is refrigerant oil in the removed condenser that must be redelivered to the refrigerant circuit (with new condenser). Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT .
-- Attach the refrigerant lines to the condenser. Refer to REFRIGERANT LINES, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING AT CONDENSER .
-- Attach the refrigerant lines from the receiver/dryer to the condenser (only for the Audi A6 e-tron). Refer to REFRIGERANT LINES TO RECEIVER/DRYER, DISCONNECTING FROM CONDENSER .
-- Install the radiator for the electric drive power and control electronics coolant circuit (only vehicles with high-voltage system). Refer to COOLING SYSTEM [For engine(s) CTGE, CWUC] , COOLING SYSTEM [For engine(s) CPNB] , or COOLING SYSTEM [For engine(s) CREC, CREH] .
-- Evacuate and fill the refrigerant circuit. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT .
-- Operate the A/C system after charging the refrigerant circuit. Refer to A/C SYSTEM, STARTING OPERATION AFTER FILLING REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT .
Read the information for starting the A/C system after installing the A/C compressor. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT .
After completing the repair work, perform the following operations on the control head using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function:
-- Check the DTC memory and delete any displayed entries.
