Safety precautions

To prevent injuries to persons and/or damage to the fuel injection and ignition system, observe the following:

• Do not touch or disconnect ignition wiring when the engine is running or at starting speed.
• The ignition must be switched off before connecting or disconnecting ignition system wiring. This also applies to high-voltage cables and measuring instrument leads.
• During some of the tests, a malfunction may be recognized and stored by the control module. At the end of all tests and repairs, the fault memory should be checked and, erased.
• Always switch off the ignition before washing the engine.
