Component locations. Refer to Component locations, overview .

NOTE:

The knock sensors -G61 and -G66 themselves cannot be tested electrically.
Only gold plated terminals may be used to repair knock sensor wire connectors.
For proper functioning of the knock sensor it is essential that the torque of 20 Nm is adhered to exactly.
Check harness connector from knock sensor to wiring harness for corrosion.
