Telephone/Telematic Control Module -J526-, removing and installing: Removing

• Switch off emergency battery. See EMERGENCY BATTERY, SWITCHING OFF/ON .
• Remove right lower A-pillar trim

See LOWER A-PILLAR TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

• Remove floor mats.
• Carefully disconnect electrical and antenna connections.
• Remove nuts -3- (5 Nm) and control module -2- from frame -1-.
