Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the left silencer panel. Refer to PANEL, SILENCER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the instrument panel storage bin. Refer to BIN, INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  4. Working from the inside the storage compartment remove the two Entertainment Telematics Module (ETM) bolts (1).

  5. Disconnect all of the wire harness connectors (1).
  6. Remove the ETM (2) from under the instrument panel.
