Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the left silencer panel. Refer to PANEL, SILENCER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Working behind the steering column opening cover (1a), remove the two Entertainment Telematics Module (ETM) bolts (1b).

  4. Disconnect the wire harness connectors (1a, 2a).
  5. Remove the ETM (1b) from under the instrument panel.
