Removal And Installation: Removal

NOTE:

If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, use a diagnostic scan tool to perform the Flash Programming Procedure (if available). This will confirm that the module is updated to the latest applicable software level.

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.

  2. Remove the trunk floor covering (1a), lifting the grip (1b) and remove from the vehicle.

  3. Disengage the wire harness (1b) retainers (1a).
  4. Disconnect the Chassis Domain Control Module (CDCM) wire harness connector (2a).
  5. Remove the CDCM retaining nuts (3a) and remove CDCM from the vehicle.
