Removal And Installation

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative cable from the battery.
2. Remove the passenger side footrest from the vehicle. Refer to FOOT REST, FLOOR, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
3. Disconnect the wire harness electrical connectors (1) from the Park Assist Module (PAM).
4. Remove the screws (2a) that secure the PAM (2b) to the instrument panel carrier.
5. Remove the PAM from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION

1. Position the Park Assist Module (PAM) (2b) to the instrument panel carrier.
2. Install and tighten the screws (2a) that secure the PAM to the instrument panel carrier. Tighten the screws securely.
3. Reconnect the wire harness electrical connectors (1) to the PAM.
4. Reinstall the passenger side footrest into the vehicle. Refer to FOOT REST, FLOOR, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
5. Reconnect the negative cable to the battery.
