Air Temperature Sensor

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

3. Open the clamps (1a) and reposition the degassing pipe (1b).

4. Disconnect the electrical connection (1) for the air temperature sensor.
5. Remove the air temperature sensor (2).

INSTALLATION 

1. Remove all sealant residues.

2. Install the air temperature sensor (1) and tighten it to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
3. Connect the electrical connection (2) for the air temperature sensor.
4. Reposition the degassing pipe and close the clamps.
5. Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
